Why don't you call the casino and ask them? They would probably know whether they have bags of halves or not.

They still use halves at the table games (all coin missing from slots) to pay splits after they take juice or to pay fractions on odd wins like black jack.
They hoard it and can't imagine they part with it for sorting

The ones near where I used to live have coin counters on the floor for people to cash in their change. It takes forever for the half bag to fill but every half bag I have bought from the coin counter at the casino has produced. My other favorite is dime bags from these machines at the casinos, got my first Barber dime that way.

Hey guys I was wondering if its possible to find halves at casinos?i remember someone saying they go to casinos and buy bags of halves there?

I was playing a little blackjack about a year ago, betting $5 a hand (the table minimum lol.) Anyway I hit for a blackjack so I was owed $7.50. And wouldn't you know it, the half they gave me was a 40%. Double bonus!
