If each of those green cents have different dates, they prolly came from a Whitman folder, that was stored in a humid environment. Acetone will take off the green schmegma. As far as the plague spreading to other cents, don't expect it.

If the verdigris is caused by a substance actually on the coin it can definitely transfer. Like was said soak it in acetone for a few minutes. That will stop it.
