1923-S SLQ? Could it be another jackpot?

After my first '23-s earlier this month, I have been looking for more. Buying lots of "junk" silver. The scan shows a 3. You decide. This I definitely need to be graded to authenticate.

I agree that it certainly looks like a '3' and therefore it must be a '23-s. I think it'll only grade AG-3. There is almost an almost identical coin graded AG-3 here:

PCGS Photograde Online

I have no idea in what price range an AG-3 '23-S would expect to bring. Again your coin and your money, but that might be worth investigating before you go to the expense of getting it graded.

Wow thats amazing!!! The best find I had buying dateless/junk slq's was a 1924 s. Did you get both from the same dealer?

It was a different dealer. He was charging $5 bucks a piece for them. Only purchased 2. What do you guys think the grade is? Here's more pics.

I posted the coin online to see if anyone "bites". Someone's actually bidding! 18 watchers! Bidding ends on Sunday!

Nice. It's definitely legit. Look for dateless 1916 SLQs too. You can tell them by the single prominent hair braid that curves upward. 1917 Ty1 will have a second less prominent one above it. Even dateless they are worth $$$$.

Thanks for the tip. I'm heading there this morning to pick through their "junk" silver. I didn't have a chance to go through his barber quarters the last time. Hoping to find something good.
