Was at the grocery store and noticed the bank there was open. I asked if they had any halves. They didn't but then on a whim I asked if they had a box of nickels. She said that they only had 22 rolls of MWR from the box. All the other rolls she had in her drawer were searched (one end opened). I bought them and got (5) pre 1960, (1) 2009D and this beauty

Congrats on the Liberty Nickel! I found a 1902 in the first full box of nickels I ever searched. Mine wasn't as nice as yours though. It's always cool to find a coin that old still in circulation.

Thanks. Seams like one of the perks of CRH is admittance to more and more clubs.

Norcalsteve, your post must have brought me luck. I just pulled a v nickel myself, a well worn 1907. Again, congrats on yours.

Glad the luck passed on to you.
I usually only search halves. I have only searched 2 boxes of nickels in the past year. This search was a partial box.

Congrats on the find. They are hard to find, only found one in circulation and the other a 1912-s in a box of mixed coins at a antiques fair.
