Picked up my first bag of halves from one of my banks coin counter. It's the only bank around with one. They charge 6 '/, for account holders and 8 '/, for non account holders. It has taken over 7 months for the halve bag to fill up. So I figured no CRH were dumping into it.
I had very high hopes for a collection dump in there.
No collection dump but, I did find
(1) 1963 Ben
(2) 1964
(2) 1967
(1) 1968
My boxes lately have not been giving up much so i'm happy with this.
I did come out ahead just with the coins. There was $1000.50 in halves, $1.25 in quarters, .60 in dimes and 6 pennies.

fast and easy, but hard to obtain! I've only been able to get my hands on one half dollar bag ($1,000 value) in 5+ years of CRH. Nice bag!!

Yep ive never been able to get 1
Asked at over 50 banks/cu that have machines

Thanks.
It will probably be another 7 months before I get another.

Pretty good bag you got there! I'm tempted to go around town filling up half dollar bags with my box leftovers so I can buy them up. I had pretty good success with that strategy in the past, and I haven't been able to do it for a while because I haven't had half dollar boxes until recently.

I can't get any bags and boxes are only giving up maybe one or two silver....if any. I'm having better luck just buying up what I can find at any bank I go to.

I have two banks that I can get them from.

They get them from their supplier and roll their own coins.

I have gotten dimes from one as well.

I don't do it all that often maybe once every 3 weeks. One of the banks is where I had my best rolls at before I started ordering bags from them. 106 40's out of 310 MWR. I sure would have liked to seen the bag they came out of.

My last three years were bags only. $500 bags of rolled coin ready to ship out, and I buy 'em. No counters here, so that's how they do it.
