Bank hopping today and one of my usual stops that loves it when i stop by so they can " get rid of " there halves had 1 $20.00 roll and 4 $10.00 cwr. The $20.00 roll had (2) bens 1950d & 1963d (1) 1964 (3) 1965 (2) 1966 (4) 1967 (1) 1968 & (1) 1969. Nothing in the $10.00 rolls.
But, as I was talking to the teller I asked her if she ever sees any old looking coins or bills come through and she tells me that not her window but two windows down at what she called the utility window. One that is not used much. a teller took in a bunch of old bills. She said that they were different denominations and all from the 1920's some have red seals and some have blue seals. I asked if I could buy them and she told me that no one had that window today and there is no way to get into the drawer. She told me to call on monday to see if maybe someone would have that window and if I could get there I could buy them.
I will call them when they open and if I can find a reason to leave work it might be a nice score.
