Nice. where do you get rid of your extra DD coins. I don't have a 74-D but I have a few 64-D. I am always looking to increase my silver holdings. Most CRH will trade for proofs or key dates but not many trade for DD coins.

Its a 74 D, and I threw it up on Ebay with a starting bid of 20 bucks. The mint state ones are starting at 50, so I figured that'd be a decent starting price. Its in real nice shape, but not mint, unfortunately.

Either way is fine- ;)

I've got the cherrypickers guide, there's quite a few 64 D's in there!

I don't have the cherrypicker's guide but I know I have the DDO-005 by the die markers on the obverse (die scratch in the field by the lips) and reverse (Scratch between NI in United). Does the guide list the values for each of the 64-D. I am trying to match the coins using the CONECA site.

Coneca 1,3, and 5 are all $35 in MS-63. 4,8 and all the RPM's are $25, same grade.

Thank you for the pricing. I have not started looking for RPM's I think I need a microscope for those.

I have yet to find any DDs ofcorse I don't look for them that closely. Are they fairly easy to pick out? Looking at the close-ups they look failry obvious are they that obvious when you are looking at the actual coin?

As I go through the rolls I seperate the ones I want to look for by year and mintmark. After I'm done searching for silver, its fairly easy to go through the ones I've sorted out and look for DD's. This is my third this year.

A magnifying glass is a big help, and they DO jump right out at you! ;)

Well, it didn't sell... still wanna trade GT?

Is the doubling evident on your coin, or did you identify it by the markers only?

Any way to scan it or post a pic? :)
