Now you gotta love that ratio! lol. A proof silver, wow! :o I bet that is exciting to find. Good luck on the box and rolls. Let us know how they turn out, and maybe you can include a picture for those of us with little/no imagination. :D haha, I'm a sucker for pictures!

Gman is usually pretty good about picking them up from our posts, but I did go ahead and post it to his thread.

Thanks.

Wow Mike.....that is a nice ratio.....WTG! You sure have been snatching those Ladies and Bens lately.....okay, what's the secret??? Very nice totals. Also, congrats on your first silver proof.

What does the $20 & $500 represent on the Mexican coins?

Personally, I like those rural banks. They have yielded nicely in my area.

Keep us posted on the other loose halves and two boxes.

BTW - It is time to get the camera issue worked out.

Thanks LJ, et al. That was a nice ratio and I always enjoy bags (so I can cherry pick before going through the rest of them individually).

"What does the $20 & $500 represent on the Mexican coins?"

Sorry LJ, that should be 20 & 500 (old) peso. The new coinage came out in '92.

Just went through the $210 is loose rolls. Thought they were going to be someone's rejects; as one end of the rolls was shotgunned; while the other was hand folded. So I wasn't expecting much.

Surprisingly, there were a few keepers:

  • 67
    69dx2
    02p
    02d
    03p
    04d

7 keepers when I wasn't expecting any.....I'll take it. 8)

Plus an AU 00p; to replace the one in my book.

Still have those two full boxes to go through yet, but with banks now closed until Tuesday; I'll take my time.

Have a safe and memorable Memorial Day weekend all.

Thanks, I try. :D

I think I put it somewhere that if you want to make sure I don't miss it, put it in the Tracking list thread. Just trying to minimize the number of posts needed as its already getting pretty long. Though at this point in the year most of the updates have been foreign coins, as most of the common US coins have been found.

FYI: I did see a couple of CRH finds in the Today's finds section that didn't get posted in the CRH section, I don't count those.
