There's ONE Coinstar machine that I'm aware of in my town. I know for a fact I'm not the only guy that checks it regularly.

Today I saw an acquaintance loading her change into it so I approached her and told her that I would buy any rejects she got, no matter what they were.

She came and found me about 5 minutes later and handed me a 2008 canadian nickel and this quarter. When I pulled a buck from my wallet to buy it she said "no keep your money. It's ONLY a quarter and what ever that other one is............." I put my dollar away, told her thanks, and pocketed the keeper. I'll trade her something down the line.

Anyway, here's my first Coinstar Keeper!

Glad to hear good stories in a time when bad stories seem to be all too frequent. Move forward the act of kindness...Brad
