I had something pretty spooky happen today. After searching more than 500,000 halves in a little over two years, I came across my second Barber ever. A pretty worn 1896-S.
So why is this spooky? Well, because I found my *first* Barber half (a 1909-O) exactly one year ago today - October 31st, 2014.
I had to get on Wikipedia to make sure that Charles Barber didn't die some sort of horrid death on Halloween day. (Thankfully he didn't - I'd probably have fainted if I'd found he had).
Looking forward to next Halloween already.
