Not a lot of value, but a cool find. Most blanks are blank on both sides. To get one blank on only one side is rare. I have only two of those. Good find.

Thanks for the reply!! There was a 1906 Indian Head penny in there also. Good day for me :-)

If I look closely, I see some faint scratch marks that look like someone didn't sand it down completely. I'd check it with a magnifying glass.

My guess is that someone removed one side. In standard mint practice, it's impossible to have a coin like this. I would even venture that it could be part of a magician's coin. I believe accordselux is right. From about the 4:30 to 6:00 position, there are fairly parallel scratch marks.

also agree that it was sanded. weight for copper is 3.1 grams, copper over zinc is 2.3 grams. appears to be some lettering around the rim. MROGERS07 is correct. just sold a copper blank with correct weight for $2.79. keep looking---blanks are out there:-)

Yeah, this is after mint. It's been sanded down, so if you have 3 of them I'm sorry, but not an error.

Thanks for the posts and time! I'll take it as sanded down and another learning experience. It's easy to get excited looking at this web site. Happy Hunting!
