So, I bought $25 in pennies and $20 in nickels today. I sat down to do my work, and I see a Buffalo ender! It turned out to be a nice 1934 with good date clarity. I worked on my pennies, finding a Wheatie here and there. I ended up with 11 of them, but the real treasure came in the third to last roll. You see, the rolls were all CWR's, so that excited me, and for good reason. That third to last roll opened up and something immediately caught my eye. What did I spy? An Indian...1900, even! The toning seemed a bit odd to me and there seems to be a bit of dirt on it. Could it be a metal detector find that somehow got spent? I don't know. I am just happy as all get out to find one.

Makes checking pennies fun to search, to be able to still find a coin in circulation of a series (Indian head), that has been replaced with the Lincoln's (copper then zinc); good feeling I'm sure. Nice find.

That Indian has without a doubt spent many years in the ground.
