So far in 2016 I've searched five boxes of halves, two of which were skunks. Out of the other three I managed to find one 90%er and six 40%ers:

Also snagged a Roosie from a teller's tray: 1956.

Picked up two boxes of dimes and a bank envelope containing $42 in mixed Ikes and halves yesterday.

Skunked on the Ikes, and one box of dimes.

The other box of dimes gave up one Roosie: 1948.



The envelope gave up eleven keepers though, four 90%ers and seven 40%ers:

Picked up a box of halves + two boxes of dimes yesterday, skunked on the halves.

Managed to snag three keepers between the two boxes of dimes:

1946 Roosie
1964D Roosie

The first box gave up five 90%ers and four 40%ers:

Picked up five boxes of halves + two boxes of dimes + a box of nickels over the weekend. Skunked on two of the boxes of halves and one of the boxes of dimes.

Managed to score one Roosie from the other box of dimes: 1957.

The box of nickels gave up one war nickel: 1944P.

Between the remaining three boxes of halves I scored a total 23 keepers, six 90%ers and 17 40%ers!

Nice set of boxes there MM! I did 4 earlier today and was skunked again, I just got home with my last 6 for the day, gettin ready to do them now..... I don't have high hopes though. I did find my oldest half to date last week though, 1846! I need to post and show it later this week. HH, Maverick.

My boxes have been alright. You guys are just seeing the highlights, I don't post about the skunks unless they are part of a pick-up where I've found silver too. I've definitely gotten a lot more skunks up to this point, in both halves and dimes, than in previous years.

March is typically my hottest month, especially with dimes. This year, however, has been less than stellar.

Anyway, picked up a box of halves + a box of dimes yesterday on my lunch break.

Skunked on the dimes, but the box of halves gave up one 90%er: 1949 Ben.

For some reason, there are NO boxes of dimes anywhere. For the past two weeks, not one pick-up bank has had a box on hand that they could sell me. Guess I'll have to start ordering them along with my halves.

Whew! A relatively-short fifteen-box skunk streak has finally been broken!

Picked up two boxes of halves yesterday, one of which was a skunk. The other box gave up one lone 90%er: 1941 Walker.

Found a 90% Ken in a teller's tray while picking up the boxes of halves as well

Managed to pick up four boxes of dimes over the last week and they were all brand new 2016P.

Guess I'll wait a while longer before picking any more boxes of dimes up. Going to try and suck up as much CWR of dimes as I can.

Hey MM it's been super skunky up here as well, really tough hunting the last few weeks. Double digit skunk streaks, just awful. I hope we're able to clear all this out soon. Good luck next week!

Dimes have been especially skunky too, have been getting a lot of solid 2016P boxes. But, maybe I'm approaching the light at the end of the tunnel...

I was skunked on the nickels. Man, do I hate nickels! I just do not find them fun to go through.

Both boxes of halves gave up silver, and they were both pretty good boxes too!
