1951 Franklin Proof

I am a modest CRHer (2 boxes a week), so don't usually post finds, but this is a first for me. A 1951 Franklin proof. Only silver in the entire box.

Its obviously very beat up, but I don't think I will have a better find anytime soon.

Nice find ceeemeee! I've found a few Franklin proofs in circulation but never a '51! We scored a '69 proof last night actually! Cool!

Great find! In a little over three years of CRH, I have only found one Franklin proof. I think it was a '61 or '62. With a mintage that low for the '51, that's an awesome find!

Thanks. I have been pretty lucky with this find and a Colombian Expo. Passive hunter for long-time. More active (2/week) over the last two years, but others with the big volume should have gotten these.

Great Proof, regardless of condition (within reason that is). I have found about 20 proofs in my hunts since I started, but none were Franklins nd only 1 of them was silver. GL & HH...Brad
