Hello Everyone,

It has been a long time since I posted anything in the CRH section. I've been doing half dollar boxes here and there, about 20 so far this year with a grand total of ZERO silvers out of the boxes, haha.

Yesterday I stopped by a small local bank which I hit from time to time to pick up any loose halves they have. Well, they had 4 rolls. I opened them to look at the ends in the car and saw franklins and walkers. So I shut the rolls to open them when I got home.

The final count out of $40.00 was 20 40%ers, 23 Franklins, 11 Walkers, and 20 90% Kens. There were 6 clad in the bunch.

If my math was correct, it was a little over $350.00 melt for $37.00 face value. My best find EVER.

I'll try and post picture later today after I lay them all out.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to dump 6 clad halves. I've never had this issue before.

HH

Use the 6 clad halves to buy a box of cookies for the teller who sold you the rolls.

Yup, I'd spend them some where. I always use loose halves for a meal or coffee, for a tip, toll road, etc.

You will need them to replace all the silver keepers you find from the MWR starting with box #21.
NICE SCORE!!!!!!

EXCELLENT!!!!
here is my dump strategy. Usually about 3k/week. I only dump at banks serviced by Brinks and the majority of boxes I buy are from Garda or Loomis. That way it is less likely I buy back my own dumps. Unless another hunter has the opposite strategy

always thankful for dummies who dump silver for face value. without them we would all need to learn how to knit---- watch goldfish swim in circles----or wait for a sloth to climb a tree. HH

Great catch in the wild. I wish my banks had customers that turned in collections of halves like that group you caught.
