I've been really frustrated with my hunting grounds lately...lots of dumps...lots of "I just gave away all the halves yesterday"...etc...

So, today my wife said "why don't you get in the car and drive like one hour away and try some different banks". Well...it was very different...lots of cwr's and statements like..."I've had these halves for a while"..."how many do you want"..."sounds like an interesting hobby"...etc...

I did run into a $720 cwr half pile which had a skunky $500 box, but the $220 yielded 1-64 and 2-40%. Then I found a $260 cwr half load that yielded another 4-40%. I started thinking about the $260 and remembered that my teller never really asked the other tellers if they had any. So, I went back and asked a different teller if they had anymore and Shazam...three solid half rolls and a fourth with 19 silvers. The rest of the day yielded 16 more silver keepers.

Totals: 32-1964's and 70-40% including a 40%-1976 for a grand total of 22ozt.

It pays to have a supportive wife...keep on stacking!

Nice hunting.... I usually try to do that same thing at least once a month where I drive for n hr any direction and hit the banks. I had my best and not so best hunts that way...

Zero: You are sooooo lucky, not for the Silver coins found, but because of the supportive WIFE that helps you with the hobby enthusiasm. Nice going.
