Okay so earlier today I came across a huge dump of completely uncirculated half dollars 1990-2016.... 2011-2016 were mint rolled and sealed. Would you guys keep them or just get rid of them? They don't sell on eBay for whole lot to make selling them worth it for me. There's like $300 worth, I'll probably dump them somewhere after looking for errors but that's all I can think of doing with them?

DEFINITELY keep them especially with the large number of the NIFCs that seem to be slipping into circulation.

cash them in if you don't think its worth making a couple bucks off of them. I used to save NIFC halves but I no longer do.

If it were me, I would dump them. To much of a pain in the rear to get rid of them for not much, if any profit. Checking them for errors is a great idea then just dump them and get some more.

I'd think the NIFC mint rolled coins would be sellable on eBay, no?

Some do but not very often... I saw two rolls sells for $35 or so. With all the fees factored in you barely make anything and waste your time IMO... Just dumping them, maybe keeping a few incase I do an album later on

I sold 5 US MINT rolls for $100. you could put the cash in a savings account and make <<<<<NOTHING>>>>>>, just my opinion.

Put an ad out on Craigslist or offer up. Someone might take them off your hands and no fees. If you make only $20 off the lot.... That's still an ounce of silver. Someone will snatch them up if you're not trying to double your money

If you can afford it I'd keep the mint rolls.

I agree with Ace that they are better than cash in savings. I don't keep NIFCS except for one of each for my album other than I have several of the mint state rolls.

I just negotiated with the buyer in the above link to sell him 14 more mint wrapped rolls for $480. (About $34/roll) He's also the same buyer that is buying my wheat cents in the "Show me your Wheats" thread in the Coins Sub-Forum.

Quick update sold all the rolls for profit. I got $15 for each roll 2012 and newer and $12 for the older ones. Not bad and all were sold locally, took quite a bit of calling around and hearing people tell me to just take them back to the bank nobody wants them. Made about $80 or so not bad! Thanks guys.
