the usual pineapple, 4 Canada & a Helvetica__BUT: '44-D, XF "36, a VF/XF '40, '72 & '78 with steps & luster. then surprise >>>> a year since I scored a 2 headed Jeff, the rotated "reverse" shown as is on coin when flipped. I have sold these "trick" coins for 3 bucks---not a bad haul for my $100 buy & $99.45 dump :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: IMG_3539.JPG IMG_3540.JPG IMG_3541.JPG IMG_3542.JPG IMG_3543.JPG IMG_3544.JPG IMG_3545.JPG IMG_3546.JPG IMG_3547.JPG IMG_3548.JPG IMG_3549.JPG IMG_3550.JPG

Nice finds! I think you're undergrading that 1940 nickel. It looks like there is some mint luster left on it. From the photos, I'd grade it EF/AU.

Nice haul PEA. Just curious, if you were to guess, you averaging 1 to 2 war nickels per box? So far this year, I have done 14 boxes and I'm finding minimum one per box. Just wondering if its the same in your neck of the woods. The surprise for me is the amount of Euros that I am getting. I'm used to seeing a Canadian or Pineapple appear; but, have been finding more than just the odd ball Euro in my boxes. Throws me off when I open a roll and there is a dark coin sitting there...always hope its a worth while old dirty coin just to see another Euro..grr.

Haven't found many Canadian nickels here, which is a little surprising (but not disappointing!), but NO war nickels yet.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's a "pineapple" nickel?

461 boxes produced,,, you guessed it---495 war nics, pineapple is Bahamas, fish is Bermuda, British New Penny, Euros have vanished lately, add the other crap like holed Asian, steels, coppers etc. and nickels still kick a$$ if you go slow and savor the winners. still no stinkin' 50-D plus I REALLY want a Henning (counterfeit war nic '45 with no MM).
