People have been hunting the casinos forever. Not as much now that they're mostly switched over to paper. Immy used to search at them regularly.

Been a LOT of years since I've been in a casino. Was so much noise I couldn't think straight! ...But then, I think that was the whole idea back then. :wink:

Back in the late 70's early 80's spent alot of time in Vegas. Playing $5.00 black jack when you get a black jack it pays
1 1/2 so 7.50 you always got a half dollar. I got 100's of silver halves from that.

I live in Vegas. There are a few casinos downtown with coin slots - mostly quarters & nickels. There used to be half slots too - I ran several hundred $ thru but didn't get any silver from the halves. I think they just recycle the same coins over & over. I have found a few war nicks and some older Jeffs in the nick machines. Nothing too exciting.
