I know... pretty crazy! I also found a 43-S nickel yesterday (along with a 44-P), so I've found 4 of them in 2 days!

I'm on the West coast, and actually the 43-S is the most common War Nickel I find, followed by the 43-P.

Actually, those were found in three completely separate transactions at two branches. CWR and a MWR at the one branch (50 rolls total), CWR at another branch (5 rolls).

And actually I did have that LOOMIS "collection dump" where I bought 26 rolls out of a box and found 99 pre-60s including a Buffalo and a 38-D Jefferson... Grabbed the leftover 18 rolls from that box the next morning (which had 71 more pre-60s including another Buffalo), along with a full LOOMIS box from another teller which produced 37 more pre-60s including a 38-S and an AU 39-D... Unfortunately, those were the only two LOOMIS boxes they got in that shipment. When I run into "hot" boxes, I try to run them dry! :)
