Well Crusader comments are gone. I wish the kid would respond. If it's really a kid. Crap it may just be viral spam. He has a lot going for him and some good ideas now if he would just interact with us

Too many folks these days just seeking instant 1 click solutions for everything and don't have the inclination to interact, maybe not even the ability.

This post is beginning to sound like the next presidential debate #4, between Hillary & Donald. I lost in reading what the CRH question was all about. Now what was the original post !!!!

I haven't seen much of a positive response for any "community" on the 3 sites I am a member of. Good luck.

I'm not computer dumb here and do realize virus can be attached to some media files but what's the issue and big screaming cry on clicking on a members YouTube video and then bashing them cause they uploaded it. If you don't want to click on it then dont. Instead of bashing them how about look it up on your own browser and then congratulate them or give them a thumbs up. Real simple. That's why I don't post YouTube videos is I don't want this kind of crap being said about me. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't on the vids.

I completely agree. Don't know why members blast posters who make a post with a youtube video. It's 2016. People can take good quality videos with their phones and upload them to youtube for many to enjoy. It takes far more work than posting a few pictures and a few boring run-on paragraphs. People scared of a virus from an embedded youtube video are overly-internet sensitive. Sounds like me dear mother. Click one thing on her computer and she has a little meltdown thinking her computer will spontaneously combust or something. Hahah!

The only thing I don't like about this kid's posts is that he drops the video, asks for channel support, and pretty much leaves the area. He doesn't really do any forum interacting, and that's why people slap him with the spam stick so hard. It's not spam and I think the kid has a great drive and a good attitude, but he should stick around and discuss/respond if he wants any forum cred, otherwise he will continue to see negative feedback from the senior forum members. I still don't understand why they prefer to cut him down as opposed to just moving on. Doesn't make any sense to be so salty about it.

By cracky, looks like you just answered your own question !

If clicking on youtube spam is your thing, go for it and it wouldn't bother me a bit. A bit much to expect everyone else to share your view - If a majority of folks just posted "Please support me, click my vid link bub bye !", this would cease to be a forum.
Maybe a dedicated subforum should be set up for those who just wish to post youtube links and those who enjoy watching them.

Whats up with this "support" thing, does he get 5 cents a click or something ?

The "support" button is a way to fund your favorite YouTubers so that they can keep creating, since YouTubers don't make a ton of money. It's really meant for YouTubers who are attempting to make YouTube a full time career because there is a point, perhaps around 100,000 subscribers, where someone may decide they want to try YouTube full time (despite making a salary of $10,000 a year or so at the time). So they need some extra funds. If that's not you, however, there's no reason to use the support system in my opinion.

So you all know, YouTubers make around $1-2 per 1000 monetized views. That translates to one or two tenths of a cent per monetized view (and not every view is monetized). Also, every penny you earn is tax deductible. So yes, it is a real job. A real low paying one. Just thought I'd clear that up for y'all!
