Variety Hunting Small Dollars pt.2

So this weekend I went back to the bank for more small dollars and they had 2 boxes waiting for me. I was going after the SBA wide rim variety & the mule 2000 P Sacagawea coin (I know Hail Mary coin, but what ever). Spoiler no $40,000 coin found today. Still I was surprised to see so many 1979 P wide rim varieties. I'm starting to wonder just how scarce this variety actually is.

To answer your thoughts on the wide rim near date SBA coin, yes they can be found, but condition is key! There just aren't that many found in mint state condition.

So now i'm wondering if I should be hunting for a really great example. Or perhaps find a bunch and trade up.
