Just wrapped up (or unwrapped) one of the more interesting boxes I've had in some time. We've been stuck in the skunk swamp for over a month now but mixed in was this neat little box.

Opened it up to spot an obverse Franklin ender looking me right in the eye. But not just any Franklin, it was the 1955. First one we've ever found as a matter of fact! Saving the ender for last, I searched through the rest of the box and discovered one other 40% along with another blast white ender.

No friends in the roll with the Bender, however the blast white ender was a BU 1968-D and snuck in with it was a slick gray little rim. 1900 Barber! Only our second found in all of our boxes, this one being the 1002nd box we've searched!

You never know when the silver gods will show some mercy. Happy hunting everyone!

That Barber has gone a long way to never get caught until now. And to think after Barber, then Walking Lib, then Ben, then Kennedy. He managed to sneak by all of them. Congrats.

The '55 is the only Franklin I can never pull out of my dealer's junk bin... nice find, and especially for an ender... and then the Barber... very cool!

A '55 ender and a Barber in the same box, outstanding! Question is if you could swap finding this box with a 40%er only box, how many 40's would it take? I'm thinking 75 or so at the low end.
