Right now their silver melt value is $2.70ish.

Whatever you can talk someone into buying them for is based on a few factors.

Picked up three boxes of halves + $220 in CWR of halves this weekend, which proved to be pretty good for me hunting-wise.

One box was a skunk, but the other two as well as the CWR gave up silver...

The $220 in CWR of halves gave up eight 40%ers:

    1966
    1967 x 4
    1968D x 3

The first box of halves with silver gave up three 90%ers and two 40%ers:

    1964 x 3
    1968D x 2

The second box of halves with silver had a single ender, and gave up three 90%ers and four 40%ers:

    1941S Walker
    1942 Walker
    1964
    1967
    1968D

Also, I sold $140 in face value of 40%ers back on Thursday and picked up this bad boy with the proceeds:

Man, skunk city the last two weeks!

Managed to snag four 40%ers out of a box of halves last night though, ending the skunk streak:

    1967
    1968D x 3

Picked up two boxes of halves this weekend, snagged one 90%er and three 40%ers between them:

    1962 Ben
    1967 x 2
    1968D

Also, one of the boxes contained thirty 2017 halves, both P and D. Kept the best two for my collection and tossed the rest of 'em back into the wild.

Picked up two boxes of halves yesterday, one of which was a skunk.

The other gave up just one 40%er: 1968D.

Slowly but surely adding to the stack...

Picked up a box of halves + $140 in CWR of halves yesterday.

Skunked on the CWR, but the box gave up another lone 40%er: 1968D.

Picked up a box of halves yesterday which contained 33 rewrapped rolls and seventeen MWR.

The rewrapped rolls in the box were skunks. I knew they were someone's dump, a good chance they could have been my own even.

However, I managed to snag a lone 40%er out of the 17 MWR: 1967.

Picked up a box of halves + $220 in MWR of halves yesterday on my lunch break. Skunked on the box.

The MWR gave up just one 40%er, but it was a good one: 1970S.
