How long did it take you to search the quarter box for varieties/errors? Also, are any of the coins you found worth much? I don't search quarters so I am curious. Interesting box!

with a 10X loupe clipped on glasses each coin gets a look of both sides. the obvious edge check of a stack of 17 coin stack, flip it, then the next in stack. about 4-5 minutes per roll. I do this on all except dimes. listed the toned qtr for $2, the '97-P for $5 & the lot of 4 state errors for $8, all 10 day auction. I have a few repeat buyers of errors, the range for P,D,N,Q & halves can be from 10 to 4000X face depending on the denomination, error type, etc. nickels go for $2 to $45, dimes $2 to $10, qtrs $2 to $10, halves $2 to $12. sold a 1861 IH with major planchet defect a few weeks ago for $52. it ain't all about silver :laughing7:

Another nice haul and you definitely continuously show how its not all about the silver with your finds. Quick question for you, do you find it easier/better to sell the die cracks/chips/varieties, etc in groups or individually? I have accumulated several as well (mostly Quarters, not sure if their size makes it easier to spot the errors or not) and just wondering what you recommend in the event I turn to selling them.

Thanks again for your posts and knowledge in the hobby!
