I've been buying coin machine bags this week and found someone's collection. 174- 40%ers and 13-90%ers. Two walkers and two franklins. All I got to say is WOW! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1484827692.386573.jpg

Where and how do you approach the tellers for the coin machine bags?

Sounds like what's going to happen to my collection & stack when I DIE. Wife will just take it to a bank for FV, and you guys will get it ALL. HaHaHa, not a fat chance.

Yes. Yes. What he said????

Hey Mirth! I know you're in Michigan too, just thought I'd tell ya that I've had trouble getting bags too. Haven't been able to secure one yet. Most places tell me that they only sell them to the Fed or something like that.

High etiquette 009 I go into the bank with $1000 or so loose halves , start dumping them in the machine, and when it stops counting ( cause the bag is full) the teller comes over to change it. After she takes it out I ask if I can buy the bag back. So I end up dumping $1000 and picking up &1000. I will have to search thru some of the same coins I just brought back but once I'm past that point in the bag that's where I'm finding silver. These pics are from the last week of hunting. Each from a different day.The variety of coins I'm getting is crazy. Thanks Oquario79 can't wait to see what this holds. I've already doubled what I had for 40%ers in less than a month. Also scored today $27 in silver certificates from a bank. Just keeps getting better.

:coffee2: Congrats on being able to buy a bag especially fresh off the machine. Where I am, the banks won't do it. Nice find, was that from 1 bag only? Just remember that some 1965 40% were made on 90% blanks. They weigh 12.5 grams instead of 11.5 grams. Also some 1966 were released without the designer initials (FG) on the reverse. Both of those are error coins.

Yes all from one bag Gary . There's a bicentennial silver proof in there too. I have not looked thru my 65's and 66's yet. Probably should check that . Thanks
