Opened 10 rolls of quarters, found a 1950 Washington. Good or bad ratio?

So I just started CRH and bought 10 rolls of quarters at my local Citizens Bank. Out of 400 coins, I managed to find one silver, a 1950 P. Is that a good or bad ratio? Just curious!

That's a great ratio. Most people would search through many boxes of quarters before finding 1 silver. Consider yourself super lucky

It would probably take me about $2,000 worth of quarters (8,000 coins) to find one silver. you got lucky!

So when I buy another 10 rolls tomorrow, my odds are going to be zip to find another silver! LOL! Probably beginners luck on my part. Hope springs eternal, though, so you never know.

Let me also say that I bought 10 rolls of nickels and found jack squat. Three older Jefferson's (40, 47, and 59), but zero war nickels. I'll keep trying, though.

When I was heavily into CRH, I found that my finds in silver dimes and quarters (by silver weight) were close to the same, for the dollar amount searched. It's just that quarters were quite boring, so I quit them.

Quarters are hard to find in boxes but silver washingtons are just so cool it makes me want to try again. Nice find. HH!

Definitely beginner's luck! I've cracked open another 30 rolls of quarters and found zero silver! Thought this was going to be a breeze, but I guess not. Wouldn't be any fun if it was that easy!
