I've never really gotten anything besides a 67 1/2 dollar from one of these. But from Reading online here I check them every time I walk by them just in case. I got a little bit more lucky today. There was about $.40 in the machine. Plus a token. A 1938 wheat cent. Some foreign money that I threw out. And a nice 1953 Falstaff beer token! Should be able to get around $10 on eBay. Maybe... also won $25 on a five dollar scratch off! Normally don't buy them but the lady said she cant give me change I had to buy something.

Foreign money you.. threw out?!

edit: Nice finds & win anyway! But still.. you threw out!? At the very least I bulk my foreign coin finds and sell them. I keep the higher denominations for canada/euros/mexico, maybe others, but most have little value and people pay a few bucks for a lot of them.

One was China. One was a 2004 one pound. Both heavy damage. It was modern stuff.

Ok, so this one might be worth $3-5. My bad. Haha

1 pound converts to about $1 USD. I understand if you don't mess with that stuff, like I said I just save em up and either sell mixed lot of foreign country or a lot of all same country currency (if it has decent value). For example I sold most/all of my pennies and nickel types from all countries in a mix lot. I still have about $30+ CA from coin star finds that I'll eventually convert or sell.
