I'm thinking battery tech, and the climate agreements from Europe will need lots and lots of batteries to eliminate gasoline engines in cars like they claim is the goal.

I'm pretty sure it's the pissing contest between Twitter and dysfunctional missiles that is driving up PM prices. The threat of war does that.

Overall devaluation of the dollar, which has lost 10% of it's purchasing power in the last 6 months.
Silver's value, or 'price', hasn't changed.
The amount of fiat $ needed to purchase it, has.

What he said /\ /\ /\......
besides the dollar losing value, there has been a shedding of US assets by foreign investors.
Gold is up also, may/may not have anything to do with Indian wedding season.....
Wondering, if this is the start of a long term uptick...... :icon_scratch:

Maybe this is the beginning of the rumor of $100 silver, which started about two years ago. My wife said she heard around the same time of rumors of $1000/oz, but I told her it will never happen in our lifetime (but yet I'm age 70 already, so not much longer to wait).

I hate to think what even $100 silver would do to the cost of IPhones and solar panels, not to mention everything else electronic. But, do I really care?

North Korea firing missiles and talking about Hydrogen bombs. Debt ceiling talk. Perhaps a little of Harvey and the impending east coast Irma sprinkled in.
