Some of them will only sell a full bag, so I will now carry around loose half dollars to add to machines. I stopped by a bank I hit last month, and the teller said they only had $94 in the bag. I said that I would take them. When she handed me the bag, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was not only mostly all silver, but most of them were 90%ers. Final tally: $70.50 in 90's, $1.00 in 40's. I still can't believe my luck. Enjoy the pictures. I will give my tally of the entire trip later on.

Sweet cull of silver. But it is concerning the effort that newcomers like yourself put forth in taking a proper picture. We CRH'ers know what a bag of silver looks like. But what we want is some silver p0rn. All due respect to the Queen - LJ - she produced the most creative silver p0rn to grace these pages. It should be our goal if only in deference to the Queen that the collective group puts forth our best effort.

Again, congrats on the cull of silver.

It's been 5 1/2 years since her last activity. Wish she was back.

I miss her too Enamel and the chatroom. Corvettebill, great score. Looks like you have a nice selection of bens and walkers in there! Any better date walkers in there?

A really nice score. I've never bought bags off machines, only have done boxes. Gonna have to try this.

There are 2 1938's, a 1937d and a 1937. All the rest are 1940 and older.

Phenominal scores - both this and the other $540 in 40% and 90% face a few weeks back. As part of my hobby, I track geographies of where these finds take place. Would you be kind enough to share? I don't need exact - state or even region would be helpful!

I wish the bank that sells me bags sold partial bags, thereby having a faster turnover of their cash flow.

Try having enough loose halves around to dump at that bank to fill up their machine.
