I've had several "lucky" coins through the years - and have managed to lose every single one of them...

I carry a slick, dateless Peace dollar that I bought for a buck from a bank several years ago. I'd like to think it was someone's pocket piece (perhaps a WWII vet's challenge piece), and that an heir cashed it in. It generally brings me good luck, in that when I roll hunt on days I carry it, I seem to do better.

So I carry the first silver I found with me every day. I flip it every day I go hunting and so far, it has been spot on. 3 days it got heads, I found silver, 3 days it has been tails, I havent. It says today I will so I guess this will tell how lucky it really is. lol

Did it work?

Did it work?

Amazingly, it did. I had my best day ever on Friday. Struck out on my lunch break when I normally hunt. Decided to leave work a little early since we were slow. Went to a few banks who had nothing. Got $100 worth of loomis wrapped rolls from wells fargo. Took 20 minutes in my car in the neighboring grocery store parking lot to look through them. Nada. Decided to go to a couple more banks before calling it quits. One of my local CU's had about $8 in loose. The teller even said "there are real silver ones in these, I can tell just by looking at them". Sure enough, there were 4 40%. She had no problem giving them to me. Kinda surprised since she knew they were there. Then I went to another small CU that had 8 CWR's. She said they had been sitting for a while. Went through the first 4 and nothing. The last 4 had 3 more 40% in them. Total of 7 40%.

So far, my lucky coin has not let me down.
