After a long hiatus from searching halves, reading of some peoples cool finds pushed to try again. My only remaining supply bank ordered me 2 boxes.Thank goodness both boxes were skunks as has every other box from this bank over the years. At least there is some consistency in my life!

ICK.
Switch to dimes.

Go with dimes. I've had two super boxes this year, 98 silvers back in January, 71 silvers just this month. But, my real avg per box is only about 1.5/box.

My average with dimes is also around 1.5 silvers per box . The good thing about searching half dollars is that they are large ! You get one 90 percent and you just scored about $6.00 in silver value . When you get skunked you are out almost nothing ... it's pretty much all upside if you enjoy it !

There is another upside to dimes, banks don't mind ordering you a box. Very few banks in my area will order boxes of halves. But I still like halves the best
