Hey guys, I have been holding on to this 1977 hundy for like 2 years just because its a 1977 and in really good shape. I had tucked it away in my desk and I didn't realize until today when cleaning the drawer that its actually a star note! I've done some cursory research online, but the star note finder website doesn't go back that far. Ebay hasn't really proved much info either.

Anyone have an idea of value or where I can gain more info? I'm open to selling it, but want to ensure I get the right price.

Thanks!
Stef

I would have to see a pic. Really good isn't a grade. Bills are tough to grade, and value can decrease quickly depending on condition!

I'm not aware of any 1977 'series' to the $100 FRNs, though I know that bills marked with a "C" were issued by the FRB in Philadelphia.
If that is your bill, only 128,000 were printed; and the 2016 Red Book values an UNC-C bill at $225.

Thanks enamel7, I can't post a pic right now from where I am, but when I get home later I'd be happy to.
