QTR errors: Utah stunner, more "extra" cactus, bird crap on Teddy's hat & more
halves were MIA--- so I loaded up on Q, D, N, & 2 P's for the frosty weekend.
half way into the qtr. box--- I beholdin' these keepers___
Utah with what appears to be a "struck into or internal die split-- not a scratch, raised higher than field & letters and transitions to a light gouge moving west through the varying levels of the die cut. best guess is piece of clad scrap on blank before the strike
another Harper's Ferry with IDB/ or chip
looks like a BIG bird took a crap on Teddy's hat
4 more "extra cactus" ---now have abooot a dozen of these--- ready to start my own personal desert---
-- many are progressions of the die failing with 2, 2 1/2 & 3 growing chips
the $140 CWR nickels from this week had a '43-P & a '19 rough BUFF, then add a greaser Jeff "NTICE" & a gunmetal toned '56 mit das "full steps" -- pretty one
