The wife picked up our last two halves boxes of the year. First box has no enders. Second box had 7 silver enders on the top, 10 silver enders on the bottom. Haven't looked close yet but I'm assuming they're all 40%ers. The best box we've ever had (years ago) had 55 silvers.

Guesses as to how many silvers are in the box total?

I guess the holiday silver is flowing early.

Thanks everyone. I called my pick-up banked and tripled next weeks order. Maybe I'll catch the tail of this lot and score another good box (or two). Still a bit in shock that I found 214 silvers in a box - didn't figure I'd ever score that large. Now I just need to find a dream box of 90%ers and a seated liberty coin and I'll be done with CRH'ing.

After a box like that.....you'll never REALLY be done!

Very nice! You have a collection dump, where somebody's heir figured out that the Bens, Walkers, Barbers, etc were worth more, and didn't realize the Kennedy's were too. I'm a little curious about the 1964's. were they more tarnished than the rest? Wondering if they were overlooked.

Awesome box, great way to end the year. Thanks for the Silver Porn!
Barney - No problem. I almost never post pictures but I figured for all skunk streaks we've all gone through, maybe this will brighten someone's mood.

FT - nothing really remarkable with the '64's. They're in about the same condition as the rest of the coins. The rims were clearly 90's. The only statistical anomaly around the '64s were that there were only 4 in the box, and there were only 2 rolls with 9 silvers in them, but 3 of the 4 '64s came from those two 9 silver rolls. Can't draw anything useful from that, but it's at least a little interesting. I did triple my order for next week so maybe I'll catch 90% portion of the collection as well.

UPDATE - Picked up 4 boxes today trying to catch the other half of the box from last week. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I was 'only' able to catch 3 rolls out of the previous batch. Had 3 skunk boxes, and the 4th box (1st one I opened) had a single reverse Kennedy ender. Of the 3 good rolls, 1 had a '64 and a 40%er, another roll had 5 40%ers, and the ender was a reverse '64 that had 5 other 40%ers in the same roll. Found 13 in the 3 rolls, 14 total in the box.
