This is my first year CRH, so I'm not sure how common or uncommon this is, but I found my first buffalo today, then another, then another... then a lamination error silver, then another silver. When I saw the ender I let out an audible gasp. It was super fun. Happy hunting!

Awesome!!! Every time I see something like this I wonder what I'm doing wrong. Great find!

Thanks! The Loomis boxes have really been producing for me, but today I had my worst box after having my best box, from the same bank that had the buffalo box yesterday! No silver, no 30's or 40's, not even a single 2009. I had a hunch it was going to be a bad box when I started finding ground dug nickels in the first few rolls. I've noticed that my least producing boxes so far have all had many detectorists finds in them. I'm guessing since a lot of detectorists are CR hunters, it could be a bigger mix of rejects. Oh well, win some lose some. Keep buying!

my best nickel box asked me for a ride home in 2014--------total was 44 war nics------actually got tired of pullin' 'em-----but recovery came pretty durned quick.

sitting on over 500 war nics--- and sold 3 complete sets for about $16 each, & plenty of loose XF grades for $2.50 to $5 each. if silver ever gets to $25-30 an ounce---- maybe ----- they will go to my LCS :dontknow:

buy CWR nics if they are offered---- but carry a magnet to avoid a dump of beaver tails :BangHead:
