I CHr’ed for war nicks a bunch and finally got one. Then that very same day, at dicks drive in hamburgers, I see one in the donation jar. I wanted to exchange for it, but was happy with the one I just got.

I’ve found 2 v nickels in the same roll. Machine wrapped. What are the odds of that?

War nickels not worth my time. Average 1-1.5 per box. That's about $1 in silver for 10 minutes of picking up, 20 minutes of hunting, and another 10 of dumping. V-nickels seldom wholesale for over $1, and I doubt I could even get that for the ones I find in boxes. They are all culls. No date buffalos are worth $0.07, and dateds are worth $0.40. I should really just throw back all the no dates to help raise interest in the hobby among youngsters.

Use Nic-a-Date acid on the dateless buffs, might be able to dump them off as FILLERS in albums.

They go from being worth 7 cents to being worth 5 cents. Cost of the nick'a'date would outweigh any potential benefit.

But at least you would know what the DATE would have been. What difference would it make in your case, cuz you're going to send them back in the WILD!!!

I can't remember offhand if I've found multiple war nickels in one roll. I did have a box once that had 11 V nickels.
