E9532C19-FF1D-4BC3-860C-CBFBBCCD06F4.jpeg Just looking for some opinions and extra knowledge around this 2002P half dollar I found. Appears to have extra growth on rim. Can anyone help determine if this is a keeper or just post mint damage of some kind. Thanks. Pictures are best I can at this time. 86EA9121-7950-4520-B895-E218AEF43643.jpeg FB639559-9C6F-4597-A0BC-BA9B6074F90B.jpg 12CB7EAD-F345-4397-B04E-02D46E8712C1.jpeg 3C734225-086F-4D63-8BB5-F1CE9B7181B1.jpeg

Looks like post mint damage to me. Appears something hit it and dislodged a bit. I would spend it

Thanks Gents, I pulled it out of a nice box, small collection dump of AG and proofs, so I usually spent a little more time looking for anything a bit off as it might have been dumped with collection.

I Appreciate your responses.

Didn't know that growing the coins was part of the minting process. Anyways, I have good news for you. That coin is worth fifty whole cents! Go out and buy half a doughnut with it.
