Hey all-
Sorry to keep bothering, but just wondering what everyone uses for a magnifier. I'm currently using like a 2x or 4x lil flip magnifying glass I had around the place, quickly realizing its not quite up to snuff for the detail necessary to identify the rarities, so have been looking around online. Nearly got the 16x loupe from hobby lobby but for that price figured I could go for a higher magnification. Any info would be appreciated, magnification, model, amazon link :-p Please help me save my eyes, thanks everyone!

I use my smart phone camera, and you can download free apps to magnify too. Not sure if it will do what you want, but throwing that out there.

I use a 20x loupe I got on Amazon for like 8 bucks. It works for what I need. A nice usb microscope with camera is something I've seen others use with pretty neat results though.

This is what I use and it comes in handy for many hobbies. 001.JPG

I've got similar lamps, one desktop and one full size that sits on the floor. Both have 2x large lens and a smaller 10x lens for details. Don't often need higher than 10x, certainly not for grading or CRH'ing.
