I've been a long time reader of threads in this forum, but this is my first post. I'm a low volume hunter of mostly pennies and nickels. I also get CWR halves whenever I can.
Today I was searching $10 of CWR pennies, and getting frustrated at the large amount of shield cents, when out popped this 2015. At first I thought it was just a significant die crack, but I believe that since it continues uninterrupted rim to rim, it's considered a split die. I know these are fairly rare, but does anyone know how rare? Is it worth sending out for authentication and grading?
I also noticed when I put it in the flip that the dies are rotated about 30 degrees.
