I use branches of a bank that has a free coin counter. I have asked this very question because I do sometimes bank hop & get the hand rolled and can bring then in the same hand rolled wrappers, but they prefer me running them through the coin counter.

I have an account set up at a different bank specifically for drop offs. They have a counter, so I bring them in loose.

multiple accounts, multiple banks, order from one, dump at another that bags em and sends them off too the fed.
Others order from the fed, you get some stuff back but thats the game.
I prefer the ones that have the counters, every 2k worth of half dollars gets bagged and send back.

I Guess Sending Coins Back to the fed is not the same across the board.
All the banks I dump at send when they get to 1k.
