On a 550,000 cent dry spell for Indians, but only thing that'll help that is volume.
Happy hunting everyone!

I thought my current 195,250 Indian Head Penny dry spell was (is) horrible. Thanks for erasing my hope of an impending end to my streak.....

How many wheats did the 6 bags produce?

Rosco: are your wheats & IH cents results better from bags or MWR boxes.

Sure man, anytime! I managed to pull 116 wheats over the 6 bags. I've been averaging 27/8 wheats per bag this year (though those numbers are bloated by finding 3 dumps), so I guess that'd be close to my average. Of those 116, 1 were 1919, a few were from the late 30's, and the rest were 1940. Couple shiny '57s as well.

I've never done boxes actually. I started doing a few rolls, which quickly escalated to bags, as my bank preferred I do that to save on paper waste and their time essentially. I found my first IH in the first 8 rolls of cents I did, the other 5 I've been fortunate enough to find were all in bags, including 3 in one bag on my b-day (love the coincidence there). So...I guess for pure volume, rolls have been MUCH better to me than bags, as I searched about $80 worth of rolls and found 1 IH, and over the course of 142 bags have only found 5 more. Take what you can get though, I'm extremely fortunate that the tellers at my bank have been supportive of my obsession, so no sense possibly ruining that over asking for rolls instead and causing them even more work...
