Weight may have been dead on depending on the amount of in the roll. Iíve been pondering just how much poop is equivalent to the weight of one penny....ok thatís a lie....Iím actually not quite that bored. But Iím not sure why youíd be mad at the teller. My wife manages a bank and people bring in tons of rolled coins all the time. They donít do a super close inspection of every single roll and to my knowledge they donít sniff every roll to be sure thereís no poop in there. Iím sure the smell was somewhat contained until the unlucky OP busted that baby open.

This is actually something banks are doing now. Itís like a dye pack but for thiefís that prefer stealing change. Itís called a Poo Pack and it sounds like itís going to work great. Everybody is returning them immediately. The cops donít even have to be called.

I think all money has poop on it. You just got a higher dose than the rest of us. The smart crhers wear gloves. I'm building up a tolerance for the poopocalypse. I am glad you shared. If you had kept this to yourself we would have missed out on so many laughs and joke opportunities. You are a hero for letting us laugh at your expense and I commend your bravery.

If you only realized where the cash you get from anywhere has been you would always wear gloves.....

Not really. It's been illegal to launder money.

Washing coins is actually preferred and part of the process/requirement for sending in fountain coins or other contaminated coins.

I'd be pissed too. It may not be the tellers fault exactly but they gave it to you and they are representing the bank to the public...who else would you ***** to? The CEO? I ***** out some poor smuck making 11/hr every time i call Comcast or T-mobile but its not their fault.

I suspect the bank was the intended victim. Another nutjob with a beef against someone and too much of a coward to express himself in a normal civilized manner.

After this thread, I think I'll go back to wearing the nitrile gloves for CRH. I usually buy them in bulk for painting. For anyone else thinking the same, I have found the warehouse clubs to have the best price on these disposable gloves. And the nitrile hold up much better than latex.

Always do right; this will gratify some and astonish the rest.

Total skunk boxes: 39 halves, 2 dimes
    90% halves from boxes: 29
    40% halves from boxes: 108
Silver halves from teller trays: 16 - 40% halves
Coinstar silver: 3 quarters, 1 dime
