Picked up my second dime bag for this year by topping it off with $12.60 so that nobody else takes it or shipped out by accident. My second handful pulled out a 1916-P Merc in VG condition. Oh how I was praying that it was a 16-D since I saw the obverse first. But not this time, oh so close.
Result of the bag #2 had 8-silvers ( 1-merc, 7-Rosies). I'm happy with the number.

A 1916 dime is a great find.

How did you know the bag was only 12.60 from full?

Probably because it stopped when the bag filled and that amount was on the screen.

I know the tellers, also was in there the week prior and she said that maybe Friday or Saturday for sure. When I got there they checked it on the screen that it was still short, so I offered to top it off with only $13., and buy it then.
