Slim pickings so far this year

I search bags of nickels, dimes, quarters and halves when I can get them from my bank. I also search between 6-10 boxes of halves per week. To say the finds have been few and far between this year is an understatement.

Aside from one quarter bag in January that had 10 silver Washingtons, the rest has been super slow.

My silver results through January-February over the last 3 years are:

2017 - 32 ounces (51K searched)
2018 - 36 ounces (47K searched)
2019 - 9 ounces (55K searched)

I'll keep plugging away. I'm on my way to pick up six boxes of halves after I post this.

You guys that concentrate solely on halves have more patience with the skunks than I do within the dimes. Dimes are drying up like the summer drought, and a new HYBRID OF SKUNKS is coming. I'm going to need a pick me up, soon. Good luck to the HALF GUYS, and HH.
That white rim 64-half all by itself is so reassuring to the hobby. TKS for showing that it's still out there.

Hey UncleSlick....sorry I've been away for a bit. I thought I'd give an update on the other five boxes from March 15th and then how I've done since.
Box 1 had that shiny 64 that I showed above.
Box 2 - skunk


Box 3 a Franklin!
Box 4- Skunk
Box 5 - Skunk
Box 6 - 1 40%

I'll update for the weeks following shortly as I get the pics off my phone!

Alright UncleSlick...here are my results for the boxes I picked up March 21st.
Box 1 - skunk
Box 2 - 1 40% and 1 64. Glad to have them too!
Box 3 - skunk
Box 4 - skunk
Box 5 - skunk
Box 6....well box 6 looked like this when I opened it!



Do you see it? I love getting enders and a Frender is awesome!


I "ended" up with two enders in the box and I always save them for last.



Box 6 had 18 40%ers, 4 1964s, and 2 Franklins. Man I love those kind of boxes and it makes all the skunks worth it when you find one.

Counting the two from Box 2, a haul of 5.3 ounces is always welcome around here!
