In my liquidation of my collection & silver stacks will be my disposal of nearly $200 of hoarded copper cents ('59-'81). I'm trying to find someone locally to buy them for copper investment purposes, but no one as yet. If anyone knows of any takers let me know., current coinflation for a single copper cent is about $.0177/each. Just wish that my local scrap metal yard would take them in as COPPER, but as it is, it's still against the law to melt copper cents. All else fails, I'll be flooding the local market with a he** of a lot of copper cents.

At my age, I'd quickly buy something I want for $200 and get on with life.
Don....

No kidding. For all the time that I sat on them and for the trivial amount over face that I got, it was a terrible waste of time/space. There is a transient down here that hauls a toddler trailer behind his bike. He bikes over to the beach and collects aluminum cans and bikes back to the scrap metal yards. He makes more scrapping beer/soda cans per day than I did sitting on bricks of copper for decades.
