It's not far, I went in and asked for some halves, bought all they had, the nice lady said someone had just come in with them.

Take a look - all 40% Kennedy's with one 1963-D Franklin and a strike through error on a 1983.

Looks apparently can be deceiving. It's 44 coins. They were all customer wrapped. The '83 is marginal, but I'm keeping it for now.

Nice work Smoke! and Megalodon is right Get all the penny nickel dime quarter and dollar rolls they might have brought in with this. Wouldn't a customer roll of Morgans and Peace be nice?

Not a dumb question at all. It would be highly unusual to see Morgan or Peace dollars in a roll, but if you did, they would most likely be in a paper roll used for Ike dollars and they were used in the late 1970's. I have bought CWRs of dimes that were stamped with a bank name that went out of business about that time, so the paper rolls can stick around for decades.

Silver dollars have been 38.1mm in diameter from 1840 to 1978, so paper rolls used for Ikes would fit any of those.

Since the rest of the $200 face was junk, I didn't ask. Quarters were a bust. I occasionally ask for the big dollars but for the last few years no one has had any, but it could happen.

A thoughtful cat wouldn't have eaten that hot dog for breakfast and could have gone to the far away bank (35 miles) that has newer quarters and looked for some 2019-W's but NO, had to have the hot dog...and the tummy ache to follow.

Hindsight is 20/20. Hey, if you had not eaten that hot dog, you would have cheated yourself of the opportunity to reflect upon the consequences of our choices...

When you think about it, is a hot dog any worse than Spam? I'm still working on a case of Spam - 12 different flavors, sent to me by an old buddy.

There are many varieties of Spam today. My buddy and his wife are retiring to Hawaii and he sent a pic of the Spam section in the supermarket - it took an whole side of an aisle. The only thing about hot dogs that bothers me is the criticism from others.

This heat is awful. If not for our amazing 1 year old grandson, we would have moved to Maine by now, like the Maryland lobsters have done.
