Good thing I decided to hunt a bank roll box of pennies today! This is my haul of 87 wheat pennies and a suprise mint and shiny 1905 Indian Head Penny!

Its a very nice score, but I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news. Your "mint" Indian is far from mint. Although it is nice and shiny, it shows significant wear. For a coin to retain that much natural mint luster, the "Liberty" in the headband would be very visible. Your coin has been very improperly cleaned, I'm afraid.

Still, quite a haul. My all-time best box had 8 wheaties. :icon_thumright:

Yeah now that I look closely I can see what you are talking about. Still displays nicely though!

There was one 1928 and two 1939s the rest were every imaginable date through 1940-1958 some with mint marks. I also forgot to add that I found two 1951 Canadian Cents too.

they scrubbed that IHP with "bleach bit"---- still better than a kick in the ****s:laughing9:
