Haha,

Sorry wanted to get some eyes on this.

So I ran one of the three bags of cents that I picked up Tuesday and out popped 2 silver rosies. No pics but we all know what a 61 and 64 Rosie look like.

Anyway, I’m thinking one of two things.

1) this is a one and a billion coincidence and I should go buy some power ball tickets,
2) there is a sweet dime bag waiting to be picked up for me on Tuesday :-)

Anyone have any thoughts? I usually come across 4 or so dimes in each bag of cents I do, maybe between 2-4, but for two of them to be silver?!? I can’t really figure out what is going on here..

That is an odd coincidence. The dimes might get analyzed to be counted and bagged and maybe the cents do not (they might get counted and bagged by size). Do you see many foreigns in the cents?

Either way, stay on top of the dimes and cents from that source.

Rosco there were like 3 George vi in there, and a bunch of wheats.

I’m not sure exactly how the coins are analyzed. This particular machine rejects all foreign coins, All nickel Canadian coins included. It does however accept the copper Canadian coins, which I find a LOT of, which is cool by me because they’re easy to sell off. I have never found a foreign coin other than Canadian cent in the bags from this CU. Dimes are always all US dimes.

I have found silver dimes in cent bags before, but only 1 in a bag and never more than one.

It's just a missort, but it might indicate that the next dime bag will be better than usual...
