found in Loomis roll of all 2019-P brilliant un-circulated.

all high points of the reeding are flat. appears the collar die was grease filled preventing full metal expansion into the notched segments. the edge of coin is nearly smooth. an exemplar of another coin from same roll is shown.

diameter of the normal coin is 0.953 inches using mechanical Lufkin micrometer,
the coin in question is 0.949 inches. all ultra fine details of both coins being identical.

3 photos are showing both coins being rotated 120 degrees to show the full rims

Happens a lot with reeded coins. Dimes, quarters, halves. Likely happens just as often with cents, nickels, and dollars, with the smooth rims obscuring obscuring affects of grease.

Time for more coffee.

I've not seen a single Idaho 12019 quarter yet of ANY kind. Box after box, and just now I'm finally seeing some San ANtonios but not a single Idaho river yet.

MDia says it was after- strike damage. consider it is from a SOLID ROLL of 2019's run through the initial rolling----

I'm strongly not buyin' it.

not like a Mint staff decided to do a flawless shaving of the rim with no tool marks, then throw it in the hopper to get bagged. hope for SECOND OPINIONS----- and yes,------ I already know---- I'm ugly:laughing9:

I'm afraid I have to agree with Mike on this one.
